Speyside Capital Ranked Among UK’s Top 200 Fastest-Growing Businesses

Recognised among Scotland’s fastest-growing businesses and named the UK’s fastest-growing specialist whisky asset manager, Speyside Capital has been ranked among the UK’s Top 200 fastest-growing independent businesses in the 2026 UK Fast Growth Index, following a 164% increase in turnover over two years.

The UK Fast Growth Index, run by Ideas Community in partnership with UBS, identifies the fastest-growing independent businesses across the UK’s nations and regions. The 2026 Index features 350 businesses that collectively increased turnover from £4.3 billion in 2023 to £10.2 billion in 2025, representing growth of 137%.

Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE, founder of the UK Fast Growth Index, said:

“Speyside Capital is a great example of the extraordinary talent and ambition we see in businesses across every part of the UK. Earning a place on this year’s Index, alongside firms that have together more than doubled in size in just two years, is a remarkable achievement, and the whole team should be very proud.

“At a time when we hear so much about the challenges facing the UK economy, businesses like Speyside Capital show what is possible when they are given the chance to grow. The challenge now is to help more of them become those incredible high-growth businesses that make a massive impact across the country.”

For Speyside Capital, the recognition reflects the company’s continued development within the Scotch whisky sector and its growing position in whisky asset management.

"We’re proud to be recognised among the UK’s fastest-growing businesses. It’s a great reflection of the hard work our team has put into building Speyside Capital and our continued focus on developing the business worldwide while keeping our roots firmly in Scotland."

The UK Fast Growth Index ranks independent businesses by percentage growth in turnover between the 2022/23 and 2024/25 financial years. To qualify, businesses must meet minimum turnover thresholds of £250,000 in 2022/23 and £1 million in 2024/25. Figures are verified against Companies House data or by the businesses’ accountants.

Speyside Capital congratulates the other businesses recognised in this year’s Index and looks forward to building on this progress.
