Celebrating Scotch Whisky at Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival

The first week in May saw the iconic Spirit of Speyside Festival return to Scotland, taking place from May 1st to May 6th and celebrating an impressive 25 years. As an integral event on the region’s cultural calendar, the festival pays homage to Speyside’s huge array of distilleries, showcasing why the area is globally renowned for it’s Scotch Whisky.

This year, Speyside Capital leveraged its extensive industry connections to take part in exclusive visits to several prominent distilleries, including Speyburn, Strathisla and full private access to the still house at Tomintoul.

The Spirit of Speyside Festival serves as a platform to promote the heritage and innovative practices of Speyside’s distilleries, and Speyside Capital’s active participation reaffirms our commitment to championing the exceptional quality of Speyside whisky and fostering strong relationships within the whisky industry.

“Our participation in the festival was no question. We are keen to support the industry in any way we can, while continuing to uphold and strengthen our connections. It’s been amazing meeting Whisky enthusiasts who have travelled from all four corners of the globe and are here to experience Scotland. Specifically, the Whisky being produced here in Speyside.” said Paul Kopec, CEO of Speyside Capital.

The festival offers a huge programme of Whisky events during opening days including tastings, distillery tours, special occasion evenings and masterclasses that all provide attendees with detailed insights into the art of whisky production.

As the global appreciation for Speyside whisky continues to flourish, Speyside Capital remains steadfast in its support of the region’s distilleries, ensuring that the Spirit of Speyside is celebrated far and wide.
