Speyside Capitals joined forces with Alex Fach in The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup last weekend with Round 3 taking place at the iconic Silverstone Circuit. This exhilarating event brought together the world’s top Porsche drivers, showcasing their skills and determination in a fierce battle for victory.
Our weekend was spent with Alex Fach of FachAutoTech, as we proudly sponsored his race to victory. This was the first time in the history of the Porsche Supercup that a Swiss driver has climbed to the top of the podium.
With rain showers challenging the competitors, the track conditions added an additional layer of complexity. However despite the adverse weather, drivers showcased their exceptional car control and adaptability, striving to secure a favourable starting position.
The 21-year-old celebrated his maiden Supercup victory: “I somehow managed to stay out of the chaos of the first two corners – and suddenly found myself at the very front. After that, it was just a matter of maintaining my lead. Our team has had to cope with some tough setbacks recently so this win is simply amazing,” said Alex Fach.
