Celebrating Excellence in Scotch Whisky: Speyside Capital’s Sponsorship of the Scottish Whisky Awards 2023

The world of Scotch whisky is renowned for its rich heritage, exceptional craftsmanship and the pursuit of perfection. It’s a realm where every drop is a testament to the artistry of the distiller and the unique character of the land it hails from.

In this spirit of celebrating excellence, Speyside Capital will proudly sponsor the prestigious Scottish Whisky Awards 2023 in the coveted category of “Best Single Malt No Age Statement (Unpeated).”

The Scottish Whisky Awards will take place on 30 November 2023, fondly bringing together industry experts and whisky connoisseurs to recognise and celebrate the finest whiskies.

This year, Speyside Capital’s sponsorship marked a commitment to honouring and promoting exceptional single malt Scotch whiskies within the category of Best New Single Malt No Age Statement (Unpeated).

The “Best Single Malt No Age Statement (Unpeated)” category acknowledges those distilleries that have crafted exceptional single malts, showcasing their true character without the influence of peat, and without an age statement—a true testament to the quality and expertise of the distiller.

2023 Finalists in the category include Angus Dundee Distillers, Bladnoch Distillery, Brave New Spirits, CVH Spirits, Isle of Arran Distillers, Loch Lomond Group, Murray McDavid, The Glenmorangie Company, The Glenturret and Tomatin Disillery.

Paul Kopec, CEO, will have the honour of presenting to the chosen winners on the night commenting that “Speyside Capital’s involvement in this category emphasises our dedication to the world of whisky investment, where we consistently seek out the most promising casks, regardless of age or peat content. We look forward to a night of celebration at The Scottish Whisky Awards as we celebrate the very best in the world of Scotch whisky.”

As Speyside Capital continues to guide investors on their whisky investment journeys, the importance of recognising and celebrating the outstanding whiskies that are crafted year after year in Scotland won’t be ignored.

Updates from the evening and an even re-cap will be posted after 30 November 2023.
